A Hanukkah Blessing.
I offer you a blessing on this Hanukkah. Some say it's a minor holiday.
On the contrary, it couldn't be bigger.
Yeshua thought Hanukkah was so delicious an opportunity, a literal "FEAST of Dedication", He chose it to gift wrap the significance of His coming, tied though it was with a bow of modesty.
Some say Hanukkah is a minor holiday. Not to Yeshua. To Him, it was the 4th of July fireworks of prophetic opportunity. He chose it to walk in the Temple in Jerusalem …
At that time the Feast of the Dedication took place at Jerusalem; it was winter, and Yeshua was walking in the temple in the portico of Solomon.John 10:22-23
… and tell us that…
- He is the Good Shepherd. John 10:11
- “I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
- Following Him is the Best! John 10:27
- My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;
- That he is Messiah. John 10.25
- If You are the Messiah, tell us plainly.” Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe;
- Who He is. John 10:30
- I and the Father are one.”
Christmas is about His coming
Hanukkah is about dedicating the temple, our temple, to God.
I wish you the many blessings of both holidays, whichever you choose
But especially the glow that Messiah intended, lighting the way to a delicious FEAST of dedication.
Add fried latkes and SERVE.
