NOW what?
Quick update to everyone. Easier to share as a blog. My left arm went numb and limp, on Thursday AM 8/8. I went to Bryn Mawr Hospital. It was a TIA. I ended up staying two nights. Possibly triggered by the Babesiosis ( that I just got over a week before) which causes the body to nosedive platelets and flood white blood cells and all kinds of other reactions to try to combat the invasion . It was for this reason that my doctor suspected leukemia before my clever brother-in-law doctor suggested a tick borne problem treated with courses of various antibiotics. which is exactly what we did. and caused a big turn for the better very quickly. But the root cause probably developed over time. It was a 2/3 blocked carotid artery. I had a longish carotid stent placed this morning at 8:00 a.m. (Fri 8/9).
